Arthur Astorino, Jr., M.D.: Dr. Astorino graduated with distinction in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University prior to earning his Doctor of Medicine degree at Baylor College of Medicine. After Baylor, he began his residency in Ophthalmology at the world renown Jules Stein Eye Institute within the UCLA School of Medicine training center. After residency, Dr. Astorino joined Dr. DuPont's Orange County practice. After Dr. DuPont retired - Dr. Astorino assumed ownership of the eye clinic, added an associate and formed Astorino and Associates Eye Center.
M. Polly McKinstry, MD: Dr. McKinstry is from a rural area outside of Philadelphia where her father practiced general medicine. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Swarthmore College and continued on at Yale University Medical School. Upon graduating from Yale, she studied in Ophthalmology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Following New York, she moved to California to also study at the Jules Stein Eye Institute of the UCLA School of Medicine in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. McKinstry practices at the Laguna Hills office and is also Chief of Ophthalmology at Mission Community Hospital and an assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at UCLA.
